Mankind has always had a desire to know the future – and for understandable reasons. If we could only know, for sure, what is going to happen tomorrow, we would make much better decisions today – at least that’s how the reasoning goes.
At the very least, it seems that a knowledge of the future could reduce stress – that is, if we knew what to do to be prepared for what is coming. It has been said that one of the greatest fears is the fear of the un-known. So, if we knew what was going to happen tomorrow, and we knew that we were prepared for it, we wouldn’t need to be afraid, no matter what the event is.
The problem in answering questions like, “when will the world end?” or “how will the world end?”, is that there are many sources out there claiming to know but having very different answers. Some look to the Mayan calendar, others to Nostradamus, others to “extraterrestrials”, others to the Bible. Even scientists claim to have an understanding of when and how the world will end, yet they do not all agree on the answers to these questions. Who can you trust?
Fortunately, there is a way to determine which sources are reliable. In our next post we’ll share three keys to deciding who you can trust and who you can’t.

It makes total sense – if we knew what was headed our way and how to be ready for it – what a great stress reliever! This is important stuff. Looking forward to the next article.
Great point – knowing what’s going to happen takes away fear and stress – at least if you’re doing the right thing to deal with what you now know is going to happen. Looking forward to future info on this site.
